  1. This encodes your archive contents into a MacBinary (.bin) format. Use
  2. MacBinary to encode information that will be sent to another Macintosh.

  4. The Zip format can not handle Macintosh resource forks correctly. This option writes the Macintosh resource fork into the .zip file along with the data fork correctly. Only other Macintosh users can use resource forks.
